Love Handle Installation

Please choose a doorway that has molding around it of at least 3 inches (8cm).
Using wedge provided secure the door in the open position away from where hammock will hang.
Hold the Love Handle in two hands, one on each side of the heart shape. Raise the Love Handle towards the top of the doorway, pulling the two sides away from each other. Pull apart and place rubber coated ends on top of molding.
Release the tension when rubber coated ends of Love Handle sit securely on top of the doorway molding (middle of the doorway provides most room for the Miyo® Baby Hammock to hang from).
Attach the spring clip (but not the spring) to the coil end of the Love Handle.
Attach chain and spring provided from Miyo® Baby Hammock to the spring clip on the Love Handle.
Attach spring clip at bottom of the spring to the circle ring at top of hammock.
Make sure there is a spring clip at both ends of the spring. Ensure that both spring clips are attached to each end of the nylon strap and spring.
Place mattress into the body of the hammock. Ensure that the tip of the mattress is placed by top seam inside the body of the hammock.
Place wood separator about 14 inches (35cm) from the circle ring and the top edge of the hammock until all of the material fits snugly into each groove.

Use mild natural soap solution on a dry soft cloth to clean all parts. Wipe away any moisture with dry soft cloth.

When not in use, please store in a dry area away from dampness. Check hardware monthly while in use.

Safety tested to hold 50kg but recommended to only up to 15kg.
Please check your doorway molding or door jam ensuring it will hold the Love Handle securely. Please check this before putting your child into the Miyo® Baby Hammock.
It has been designed to hang from the step shape above any door you would find inside a house, while the door is wedged or latched securely from closing.
